IJAEP is publishing high quality researches in Exercise Physiology and Sport Science Area. This journal is in five sections as the following:

1- Applied Exercise Physiology:
This is the main section and most articles to the journal are in this area.

2- Sport Science:
IJAEP would like to connect with other researchers of sport science. This section covers other researches in sport science area such as kinesiology, sport medicine, sport psychology, sport management which may be related to applied exercise physiology.

3- Case Study:
Now we are publishing only high quality and powerful case study researches in per issue.

4- Review article

5- Social science

If the editor decides that an article is suitable then it will be put into consideration for the peer review. For IJAEP this means double-blind peer review. The editor selects usually two (but sometimes as many as four) independent reviewers who do research or practice in the same area as the author and are specialists in the field of study. Sometimes the reviewers are members of the editorial advisory board or the editorial review board and sometimes the editor will use ad hoc reviewers from his or her personal network.

Steps for Article Submission: (Maximum 4 weeks for review result)

1. Submit your article by registration at the journal website (Please do not send your article by email)
2. You will receive an Email confirming your article has been submitted in our website (under-review);
3. Sending the article to the editor and co-editor;
4. Receiving comments by the editor;
5. Back to us your corrected manuscript
6. Sending acceptance to the author
7. Publishing the article on the website on main section and publishing in both printed and online. We have 40% to 60% reject rate.

Formats

Articles typically in IJAEP are not limited in words. Generally 8 to 12 figures may accompany the text. You are encouraged to send high-resolution electronic versions of photographs and drafts of figures with your article. single-spaced in one-column journal format. If your article has been accepted, an editor will be assigned to work with you on revision which may be extensive captions and the plan of illustration. You will be asked to check illustrations and editorial revisions to ensure that accuracy is maintained. Our goal is to help you write and illustrate your article in such a way as to attract and hold the interest of the reader.

Manuscripts and proposals are accepted electronically and should be uploaded via an online form. The editors prefer text to be in MS Word Format; image files may be JPEG, TIF, EPS or PDF. Video file e.g. SWF.

Please spell out all units of measurement and explain any unusual measurement units. Include the first name and the institutional affiliation of anyone mentioned in the text. IJAEP editors require that bibliographic notes appear at the end of the text, rather than embedded. The Journal follows the Numbered style for bibliographical entries, except that all publication names should be spelled out. The reference manager software (Such as Endnote) should be used for writing references. Please refer to the article template for more information.
